I am trying to identify a few pocket watches that belonged to my uncle. This is one I can not find any info on.

At most, 60 years old, I should think. Waltham sold out in the late 50s, but their name was still used into the 60s. Today, their name is once more used.
Not a true railroad watch. More geared at collectors.
I'd say it's from the 1960s-- after they were bought out but before their name went away temporarily.
      17 jewels is decent quality.

Check this link. It appears to be the same watch. Yours seems to be from 68 as the stamp in the movement indicates. http://mb.nawcc.org/showthread.php?91549-Where-to-find-serial-number-on-Waltham-pocket-watch-with-train-on-the-face

Thank you so much, granted it's more of an heirloom for myself and my son one day. It works perfectly and keeps time perfect. I'll post a few pictures of the Elgin I have from him as well.

I have my grandfather's pocket watch, that was passed from my father to me too. It's a Tissot, a cheap one, but that carries the family tradition like yours.
