    This is made of very heavy wood and it's got some age to it. i'll post pics of another one i got before i clean it up like i did this one. i went over it w/ some fine grade steel wool and then waxed it w/ furniture wax. it's much darker now. the wood is extemely heavy. i think it might be ebony.
