Hello Followers, Visitors, Members and Friends from Collectors Weekly, 10-06-2017, 12:00 AM
This week was just unbelievable, I found so many very nice piece, I will catch up this coming week end .
The following post is the last pieces of the week, a very nice vase from the 60s-70s from “Bay Keramik” Western Germany, my very first love with pottery, my WGP collection is quite big right now, they all packing up, just have a few piece from this Maker and this one is quite lovely, the glaze color, immaculate White with very soft texture, the décor is typical from the modern period very colorful geometric pattern.
Mark underneath “west Germany” with number 582(shape) 17 (cm) foil label on the vase “bay keramik”.
This vase stand 7 inch tall, 4.5 inch wide.
Enjoy
I think Bay was one of the best at design of the West German potteries . This is such a great piece - very on note for the 50s. Reminds me a lot of the Italian pottery Fratelli Fanciullacci.
THANK YOU, Karen for your comments, much appreciated your opinion on this one.
Regards
Alan
