On all casing underside the watch is stamped with '0.875' for silver content and a square with '84' above the number '851' which is indicative of the 'N851' stamped on the movement cover as well. As far as I was told the piece is all original and has experienced no replacement parts. It has worked for some time and now suddenly stopped. The flywheel seems to be off balance. I am not looking for a value as I do not wish to sell, but I am asking if it is worth the cost of getting it repaired. Parts are hard to find as I am told, but keeping it safe will prevent any worse wear.
Does anyone know what ballpark cost would be involved in cleaning/reparing this sort of pocket watch?
