    This stunning pair of true Hippie Patched Jeans came out of an estate sale in Colorado. I was told the man in Colorado selling them said they belonged to his late wife who was an artist from Maryland. These were not cheap - these are a "high end" example of the genre. Love the George Washington on the butt...

      my favorite pair yet!! a friend of my family's would make them into pillows when they were just too worn out. she lived on a commune in Acworth, NH named Phoenix Nest. i spent a LOT of time there.
