I am trying to find the origin of this clay pot. I believe it could be from South America. I picked this up at a thrift store in the north west about 10 years ago. I really know nothing else about it.
I am currently at work so unable to give any dimension. I believe its about 8" tall and about 12" at bottom. Any assistance would be appreciate.

    Thank You.

Pamunkey pottery, from the Pamunkey Reservation in Virginia. Not widely known, since there are only about 100 tribal members today. That little band of stick-figure images seems to be one of the styles associated with their pottery.

Thank You for your posting. I did look them up and saw two examples of stick figures, not quite like mine; I did not spend a lot of time looking. This is more than I knew before posting.
Thanks so much for the info.
