Could anyone give me any more information on this mid-century copper & enamel dish / tray please? ?It's quite small ( 20x10cm ) & came with a handmade wooden stand indicating had been displayed as an artwork & not used. I bought it from a house clearance in Northumberland, much of which was mid-century & clearly from an artistically inclined family with some American references in the other pieces.
What attracted me to it was that the face has the confident drawing of an accomplished illustrator / artist ( it reminds me of Ben Shahn or John Minton etc... but it could possibly a French or Spanish ) but there's no signature or mark.
