This is a lead crystal plate found in my mother-in-laws china/glass collection. She was born in 1923 and knows that she inherited it from her parents. She seemed unaware and I am lucky I noticed that it was engraved with a Dutch inscription. This inscription is quite hard to read and only observable in good light at certain angles. In short, it states it is a piece commemorating the 25th anniversary of their parents on February 22, 1849. Her ancestors, that most likely would have purchased this piece 168 years ago for the occasion, lived in and around Rotterdam in the Netherlands. It does not seem to have any sort of makers mark. I know nothing of cut glass crystal and am wondering if anyone can tell from the patterns in the plate who the manufacture might be and what the value of such a plate might be. It measures 9 X 6 inches. Thanks
