Unsure the amount of silver as it is simply marked STERLING. Figure the ring/stone if faux, but I really like this ring! No clue on time period...

The stone looks like either Hematite or Onyx. Don't think it's faux.
Wonder if it is worth adding to the appraisal pile or simply not worth the cost to tell?
