I am just trying to figure out what this is. It was found in the basement of an old, large house in the Hartford, CT area. The house was owned by a Heublein executive at some point. I believe this (bottle?) is made of aluminum or possibly pewter. It is hollow and the cap does not fit very snugly. There doesn't appear to be any lining or coating of any kind inside it. I'm guessing it weighs less than a pound.
If anyone has any ideas as to what this is and whether I should pursue it's identification or just send it to the scrap yard, Id be interested and appreciative to hear them.
Thank you!
I'm guessing it once held a miniature bottle of Smirnoff vodka inside.
Agree with noob - it held a miniature Smirnoff bottle. Most likely made of aluminum. It might be an item given only to employees, so check it out with Smirnoff.
