Possibly the most sought after series of hockey cards. Picked them up today in a lot. I cant believe it. Sat in a box for how many years . Just saw one go on ebay for a few thousand. Smallest cards with nothing on the back.

What a great card collection Gordie was one of the greatest if not the greatest. Detroit is my team as well. It should do nothing but go up in value. I was in an auction for a Howe rookie card I was out a 7000. It went for 11400 + auction commission, before he passed.

Wow!! I will post a few of the early Detroit Team press photos from this lot. Condition is everything, how to go about getting grading. Thanks for the comments.

I'm still shaking. It feels like a dream. Initially I thought it was records and when I opened it ...

He shoots He scores. Excellent find pretty much all of the 1951-52 Parkhurst hockey cards are rookie cards even though players like Gordie Howe had been in the big leagues for awhile. No 1940's cards due to paper rationing for the war.
The Jean Beliveau card is interesting it's not the 1951-2 Parkhurst card and has good value. His rookie card was in the 1953-54 Parkhurst set #27 I believe.
If you want to go for top dollar you can get them professionally graded for a price of course. Your photos are a little fuzzy what I can see though is their overall appearance is good clear colors and the corners are hard to determine.

Beckett's will grade cards, very reputable.

I'm a chicken when it comes to sending items off to be graded.
