Looking for information on this ashtray that I found at thrift store. Reminds me of Anchor Hocking Boopie Nova but looks different. This ashtray is taller, bigger, heavier with differently shaped "boops." Also has bark texture on the bottom. Not marked. Measures 6.5" diameter, 2.5" tall and weighs in at 4.25 pounds. Would love any infomation/leads. Thanks.

Do you think the iciness implies Nordic origins? Was reading this at The Big Ashtray Museum... "Items resembling ice were a staple of the Swedish glass artists of the time…and still are today."

My best guess is Pukeberg Swedish mid century textured ice glass ashtray or bowl. Its lovely

Thanks guys! I think Pukeberg might be best guess here. I looked closely at pictures of other Pukeberg icy ashtrays. They have nearly identical proportions, smooth-ish exterior glass with barky bottom, trapped bubbles. Even almost exactly same line mark (similar position, length etc.) on the bottom in the bark texture.

I managed to find only one photo of an ashtray like this...an old ebay listing posted on pinterest describing it as "Vintage Mid Century Modern Danish Clear Glass ashtray Blenko?" https://www.pinterest.com/pin/548102217126164653/ But looking at Blenko stuff, I'm seeing more that this piece seems to have more design similarity with Pukeberg.
