~ Hi CW Gang ~
Vintage 1970's Hand carved Candle. Seemed like everyone got one of these for Xmas back in the 1970's. I loved them as they burner down-ward and would not wreck the design...and when the flame got down a bit- it lit up the outer design so pretty. I am aware they still make these and they still are such lovely candles! This reminds me so much of 1970's era...LOL

At first I thought this was glass, then I read everything! Yes, I certainly remember these candles but I honestly don't think I've ever seen one that has been lit. I suppose people that had them thought they were too pretty to burn. I don't know but it sure sounds cool the way you described it lighting up the outside of it. Makes me want to get one just to light it! So pretty!
Same as Shareurpassion! I thought it was porcelain or art glass :-)
And surely too pretty to be used as a candle!
With Xmas around the corner, and peopl that on-line shop.....they still make these, and they STILL make a Super Gift !!
