This is a clear square glass bottle with a glass applicator attached to the black cap. The bottom has a 3 on it. The seams do not go over the lip and they are off center and to the left of the middle of two sides. Odd place to put seams, in my opinion. Has no damage. Measures 2.5" X .75" glass applicator is about 1.75". Any help is appreciated. Thank you. No breaks or chips.
I used to know what the most common product in this design bottle was, but it has such an odd name that I never could remember for long.
Yes, it was a topically applied medicine.
The seams are from the machine that makes the main body of the bottle, and the machine that finishes the actual 'mouth' of the bottle.
Mid-century.
Would it be mercurochrome? I completely mangled the spelling but that's the way it sounds when you say it. Thank you so much for your input. I didn't know how far back that product went but my mother used to use that on us for cuts and such. It was like a pinkish red . Iodine is the only other thing that I know that came in a bottle like this.
Yep, that's it. It goes back quite a while.
No problem Valentino97 and thank you SpiritBear!
