This floor lamp is one of our very best finds (we love lamps).
It measures approximately 68"high, and it weighs in at approx. 23 lbs.
There are no hallmarks on it except for a number 454 on the underside of
the base.
We need your help...we searched online for a lamp that resembles this one,
but we didn't succeed in that effort. We are looking for the possible name and time this might have been made. We're thinking anytime between
1930's or 40's. What do YOU think?
Thank you for any information. By the way, did I mention it is iron, and
the amber inserts are glass?
They were turning these out from the mid 60's to early 70's also which this looks to be part of. There was a big import /export market from italy to the states and recently commented on one. Have seen on this site numerous ones and also on other auction sites. Unfortunately very very few of the exports were ever marked which is a fact. I have put this on a "collection" where these 60's to early 80's lamps turn up.
That floor lamp is just gorgeous. I would love to find one to match my hanging lamp.
