Vintage AZO postcard, not mailed but with a pencil message to "Mother" about distribution of the photos from" Flossie". I only have one, purchased today. I like it cause the teddy is big It is also dark.
Possibly(?) the special 1912 Titanic Teddy Bear dedicated to the tragedy of 1912 sinking.
Not sure about the bear, looks like the collectible one and that chair is intricate, ratan of all things. I would have never known they were made way back then.
I hate to ask you. (again) Is this a boy or a girl?? People back when couldn't look at a cute baby and always need to ask BOY or GIRL?? There must be a dead giveaway now lost in time. What am I missing?

Hi PCC I am not seeing the Titanic Bear but I do see what is likely a very early long nose Steiff bear . I see a cute little boy and his Teddy :-) you always find such wonderful photo's .

Hi Manikin!
Thank you so much for answering my questions and telling me that you enjoy my old photos ! They are so much fun to seek and find. Cheers! Lois
PCC the bear your boy is holding is not black mong other differences . If you look you can see the nose on his bear is black and Teddy is a medium dark brown .
oops the is "Among other things " lol I saw it to late to fix I hit submit and poof it went up misspelled .
I didn't even notice! I am just so thrilled to get your great information!! Again thanks for taking the time.
When my grandson was little he rescued a teddy at Salvation Army re-sale shop. Spotted in a bin the store clerk said "Oh those toys are being thrown away in a dumpster outside"! He was "shattered:. We took the teddy to the manager and managed to buy it for $1.00. He is now 21, and has the teddy on a stand in his room .Something about that bear really mesmerized him!
Almost all my photos are bought on eBay. and I never spend much.
I shop there every morning while I drink my coffee. If the postage is more than 2.50 then I don't even bother because all I need it sent with is 1 to 3 stamps. Many sellers wrap like it is gold in the envelope. and put so much tape on the enclosure the photo is slid into that it is dangerous extracting No one should ever put tape anywhere near a item of vintage paper.
Thanks Manikin---do you collect teddy bears or just vintage dolls?
