This is a pink depression glass footed platter. It measures 10.25" by 3". It has embossed deer and holly, and also has a scalloped rim. I do not know the maker, and I am not so sure that it is even depression. It has all the earmarks but I have never seen or heard of a pink depression glass platter with deer or holly on it. Does anyone know if this is depression glass or not?

Fenton introduced their 'Stag and Holly' pattern c1908 and in carnival glass c1913; there are reproductions...

The woman who's estate this came from had a whole lot of Depression Glass and she hung on to everything. Seriously don't know if this is a repro or not, but it is beautiful. Never saw one like this. Thank you Brunswick and TallCakes. You both have a great weekend also!

hard to see the detail due to the reflections but from what I can make out it looks to be Fenton; the pattern was also reissued in various colors over the years by Fenton.

It was difficult getting good pictures on this one.

TallCakes, if this was a Fenton repro, wouldn't there be a Fenton stamp on it? Been gone awhile, ready to play again, have some catching up to do.

Not necessarily; Fenton did not always mark new item nor reissued items as this,

      Thank you TallCakes!
