My father-in-law gave this to me. His grandfather was an Elk member in NYC or westchester area during the late 1800s/early 1900s. This is double-sided, each side identical. The elk is sort of 3d, the nose and neck stick out off of the red enamel. There isn't a date on this, and I haven't found anything similar on the internet. You can sort of see the BPOE in the blue under the clock. If anyone has more information about when this might have been handed out, or, what lodge it is from, I would love to have that information. I like the fact that it is old, and that it just sat in a box for so many years, but it must have meant a lot to my father-in-law. Thanks!
I'm sorry the pictures are facing the wrong way. I tried to fix it, but they keep reverting back.
Could have been used as a fob on a pocket watch chain.
Thank you. I thought it might be something like that since it is double-sided. It is pretty neat.
