Pictured here is a vintage 1940's Pluto Water "America's Laxative" bottle from French Lick, Indiana U.S.A. This miniature or sample bottle stands 4 5/8" tall & contains 2 1/4 ounces of liquid. It is unopened with original paper label & cap.

In 1845, Dr. William Bowles, a local physician built a three story hotel that he named the French Lick Springs Hotel. He used his knowledge as a physician to explore the healing properties of the abundant mineral springs in this area of the country. The fourth picture shows the hotel.
