My son has been visiting with his wife, while getting things in order this painting which is in the room they were staying caught my eye.
I couldn't believe when I looked at the date 1993, he his now 31 where have the years gone. I remember the holiday well, we lived in Kenya and decided to go to the States for a month. We started in San Francisco drove through Yosemite National Park, down to the Hover Dam, Grand Canon the next stop was Las Vegas, were this painting was done. We than drove to Sentinel Arizona were we stayed with family we went over the border to Northern Mexico.
After Arizona we caught a plane from Phoenix to Tampa Florida, where we also stayed with family.
This painting brings back the good times from them distant times.
This picture makes me laugh the artist caught my sons expression, the way he his looking at his sister is so him.

    Many thanks for looking

How fun! Mischievious to say the least! My kids are that age too. I miss the days they were young now. Back then, it was like I wanted them to hurry and grow up! Love those old memories. Ever been to California?

Shareurpassion, believe me, they have grown up fast and I miss them. They have their own life's to live, and I hope they think in a responsible way.

This is so cool Jean! We have profile sketches of our boys when they were in kindergarten, many years ago. They're 20 and 22 now. Hard to believe those years have slipped away from us so quickly.
