Wooded vessel with Chinese characters engraved on it. Along with mountains on the other side.
Pear shaped. Top screws off.
May have held tea leaves?
Not really sure what this item is.
I believe my grandfather bought it back from WWII.
Any help would be appreciated in what the writing says.
Or what this item is.

Good for a stash box. I think you might be correct on the tea.
