    Was wondering if someone could help me identify the time period for these two photos. They were sent to me from a relative who found them in her fathers belongings. They have no markings and just our family surname handwritten on the back. Thank you for any help!

      Not certain on the one on the left-- is the entire photo shown?

      The one on the right looks to be a snapshot, so the format would put that one in the 20th century. Also the man on the right is wearing boots that were popular in the early 20th century (I have had other dated images with similar style boots). Based on boots and format, I'd put it somewhere from the very late 1910s- 1920s.

      Photos of the back and the sizes may be helpful.

      Scott, thanks for your reply and information! The are both scans of the photos and where emailed to me. I will have to find out the size. However the one on the left is the full picture shown. I was also trying to date it based on the clothing. For instance the two younger woman on the left side (front row and standing) both seem to have some sort of fur on their collars. Again, Thanks!
