THE LIGHT OF MY LIFE - MOTHER WITH BABY -NAO BY LLADRO, 36cm taller than your average figurine. Just recently a colleague lost a baby at 26 weeks it was a premature birth and the boy lasted three days.
So I found this yesterday and found it very appealing
Beautiful figurine - sometimes a parent's hold of their precious bundle is for a moment instead of the expected lifetime which is a tragic loss. There are no easy words for something like that. I lost a son at 17 weeks which is nowhere near how much more bonded you are at 26 wks..and I think of that child to this day...even though I had another one after...and it's been 2 decades. My heart goes out to the the family. I look at your figurine and picture myself mentally holding the baby I never was able to touch. It's starkly beautiful
