Antique oil lamp I got from my family. I love it just need to find a top for it. I can't find another one or even know where to begin finding information about its age/ origins etc , there's not any helpful markings that I can find. Any light guys feel free to throw me some knowledge :)
I know next to nothing. I think it's a Victorian parlour lamp. the font is either milk glass or cased glass (I cant tell from the picture) It has a duplex (twin) burner. Is there nothing on the of the turning wheels? the column cleaned up would look wonderful. Take a piece of paper the same width as the wick openings of the burner and turn it up with the wheel to see if the teeth are biting properly. If so good to go. If you measure the distance over the ring I may well have an old chimney you can have, have a box of them
