Greetings Y'all,
First post :} I am sorting through LOTS of stuff that has accumulated from siblings crossing over, family artifacts, collectibles, curios, and just plain junk. It's very overwhelming.
So, this old broken down microscope caught my attention first. As it stands, it is about 6 inches high, with a base of 2.5" X 3", the slide holder is 1.5" X 2.5". Looks to be Brass for the 1" diameter lens tube (idk lol imma noob) and a steel base. Seems to me there would have been another 'lens tube' to look through attached to the open end of the brass there. It is kind of small to me, like maybe it was a toy or child's science kit?
It's just so sad looking, probably should have been trash long ago... tossed from box to box, who knows... or just a child's treasure from long ago that couldn't be left behind.
I just have to say, there is a buyer for everything!!! Welcome to CW.
Thank you for the kindness.
