This is a 1940's or earlier Flinn's Klingtite Nonbreakable Shaving Mug No. 5. It's a hefty 1lb 3oz mug, measuring 3.675" high x 4.25" wide.
The bottom is stamped:
"Flinn's Klingtite Nonbreakable Shaving Mug" in the top arcing circle,
"F.A.F. Mfg. Co." in a smaller arc in the center,
"Omaha, NEBR" straight across the bottom,
"No. 5" below Omaha,
"For No. 4 & 5 Brush" below that, and
"Pat. Pending" in the lower bottom circle.
Some suspect these mugs (made of Klingtite rubber) were manufactured by Flinn the Razor King from the early 1900's to the mid- to late-1940's when the company was bought out.
I have (and use daily) one very much like it, except mine's red. The material's hard rubber.
