I really like these drinking glasses picked up about 2 years ago from a charity shop. I was advised they had beeen in the shop for over a week which surprised me as they are beautiful and thought someone might have recognised them. I am unsure whether they are Loetz 'tango' or not, maybe someone who specialises may advise. Nonetheless, identified or not, I really like them which is what matters I suppose.

Hi, no i dont think they are Loetz, more likely later Sklo Union, maybe Borske.

Hello Susan, thankyou for your input. I have since found out that they are indeed not Loetz . The mark to underside is still not identified though. I have doubts about the two manufacturers mentioned as I have not seen anything of this type of glass by either, I could well be wrong though. Thanks, Alex

I agree Obscurities in that they cannot be attributed to Sklo union. They have a very nice almost vaseline feel and look. I must admit that I had them down for the 1930's but again, unsure who manufactured. I have been informed that they are not Loetz by another who is more informed than myself regarding glass so have resigned myself to this. Thanks for your contribution, much appreciated. Alex
