This photo postcard from my family is dated July 22, 1908 and postmarked Patton, Missouri. It reads, " this leaves all here ok and hopeful it will find you all the same. from Pearl.
It is addressed to Myrtle Freeman, Flat River.
Note of interest: there is no Flat River, MO any longer. In the early 1990's four cities in the "Leadbelt" consolidated to form the community known today as Park Hills, Missouri.
I wish it were in better condition. But I still find it of interest.

I just added my amateur attempts at sharpening up this old card.

Wonderful photo and looks like the little girl also has her doll in photo :-) Your photo can be repaired and is worth doing it in any photo editing program . Love it

Hi PostCardCollector. Thanks for the love and the advise. I've never tried to use a photo edit on an old photo. I've only cropped things. Anyway, I gave it a shot and added a couple of attempts to this post.

What is "cropping" ? LOL !
    8. mareredware mareredware, 7 years ago
Well, you know, blunderbuss....if you are a farmer with fields full of growing things to work on, cropping would be in order! haha. On the other hand, if you have a photo with unwanted things in the background you can crop the stuff right out of there! ;)
