Found this awesome vase the other day while thrifting, and hoping I can find someone who might recognize who may have created the piece. It is an unmarked piece that looks primitive to me, even though the style has me in an art deco state of mind. The vase is 6" tall, and about the same in diameter at its widest part. It's made with dark red clay, which should be evident from the pictures. Unfortunately, it has a large area where the glaze has been lost, but I still love the piece. Anyone have any thoughts about its origins? Appreciate any ideas on how I can research this piece, since I love to collect pottery. Cheers!
