Just a few more from the American Space program:
The top two are buttons put out before the ill fated and tragic Space Shuttle Challenger explosion, several others were made after to commemorate the event.
Next are two slightly older shuttle Challenger buttons
left is the Sally Ride ride and
right from the first Challenger flight
Then far left and right are Apollo 16 and 17 flight buttons and finely one Neil Armstrong 1930 - 2012 commemorate and three John Glenn campaign buttons.
About it for my Space related pinbacks hope you enjoyed.
I had another image uploaded however it wanted to be the first shown no matter how many times I changed the order ergo it goes, If you like these buttons the last two posts show more from NASA > Mercury, Gemini and Apollo.
Thanks for looking.
I was a frequent at the Eastern Ionosphere in Miami yrs ago and after "Frank" & I had been talking, the bartended(Al) said, "Lucas, do you know who that is ? I said, Frank. Al said, "That's Frank Bormann". I said "OK". Al, "That's why he always stops & talks to you. You treat him just like everybody else & he likes that". Frank was also president of Eastern at the time.
Frank Bormann Apollo 8 Frank how cool is that!! I'm sure many famous people just want to be treated like a average Joe at times or average Frank, I had an Aunt and Uncle Frank and Al nope not a guy couple Al was a Woman not your Al Aunt Al lol
