Looks well built and worth saving, as a retired Mold Maker I want one ;D
ATLAS for a time anyhow was a partner with SEARS CRAFTSMAN this one is likely before then and also likely better made, They have several restored and in-restored on you tube.
Nice little lathe. My Dad swore by them. This looks to be just a step above a watchmaker's lathe. 3" chuck????? Certainly used to turn small parts!
This size lathe in Australia was called Craftsman and was used by model train makers and the like. This look 1940s to me with the open belt drive.
Those rusty ways need some work!
