The dresser has the older hand carved connection for the drawers. The top seems to have a thin layer of mahogany. I have had this dresser for years and one person told me it was built in the 1700's. I believe it is 6ft tall. Thats about all I know.

Your scrolls look more Regency period, as that style was not really used during the 1700's. Possibly later 19th Century with a very nice flame mahogany veneer to the front.

Not 1700s, but mid to late 1800s. Photos of the drawer construction should confirm it is 19th century. A photo of the entire dresser would also be nice to see.
Great to see antique furniture that is actually used.
