    I found a couple of pretty "Dainty" cup and saucers today (charity shop). they are very fine china and plain white, with rubbed gilding. Both saucers have a dark spot on them, which I wonder has something to do with the firing? The Rd No 272101 means the design was first registered in 1896, but I expect these are much later than that.
