Here I am really happy again! This is a fly that does not fly away neither i have to catch. This Micro Mosaic fly as a ring and set in 14K yellow gold (marked 585) plus S.N.probably the maker's mark. In my opinion, this particular piece of mosaic is a rarity. In any case, I encountered many animals in micro mosaic like beetles, butterflies, doves, doos etc. but not a fly yet. The black onyx in which the Micro mosaic is inserted, is damaged by wearing, but the mosaic is perfect in condition, even the very thin legs of the fly and the almost transparent wings. All in all, a very special piece i can add to the Micro Mosaic flower ring that was already there (18K).
The head of the ring is inches (1.5 cm) in diameter.
Very curious about your opinion!
Oh! Marga, I'm in LOVE with your fly, what a catch!!!
Thank you Krya. We could fly our bugs back and forth. And last but not least the distantie is not to far even for a fly.LOL
The best fly possible!

PhilDMorris, thanks for love and interest.
Before coming across your posts, I had no idea micro mosaics were even a thing... But they're stunning! So intricate and unusual... I love it! I can't get over how tiny these things are...
Quantumphysica sorry for my late respons. Thanks for interest, looking and love. Your admiration for micro mosaic is exactly my interest in this fantastic piece of work, for which, besides a lot of time, also needed a lot of skill, sense for colosr and precision.
