I have no idea what this thing is- the only markings on it are Bell System and the date of the patent (I can upload the dates later).
It looks like it would have been used to twist wire or something. Anyone know what this is or what it's called?
    UPDATE:
Writing on one of the arms is:
    BELL SYSTEM
PATENTED MAY 14 1919 (could be 1918 or 1913 as well)
    DEC 1 1925

I haven't the foggiest idea what that is - nothing came up with a patent number search?

Well there's no patent number, just the dates. Early 1900's, but I will check and post when I get home.

You just hang it on the wall and it's cool as hell!

UPDATE: I found the original patent! It was patent number 1,563,377 for a C.H. Klein "Pulling and transposing mechanism for line wires".

Now I'm curious to see if this thing has any value beyond looking cool on my wall.
