I had to move this off the sofa yesterday to take pics of a tube tester, so figgered why not take pics of it to share, too...? ;-) :-)
This is a white 'hanging globe/sphere' ceiling light fixture recently scored for cheap from one of my favorite junk shops. Thinking it dates from the late 1960's or early '70's...so GROOVY?!! <lol>
Its 'globe' is made of thickish translucent plastic about 12" across, with a pair of roughly 6" painted metal bezels to cover the ceiling electrical connections and hold its light bulb/socket (standard household type) assembly onto the globe, on the respective ends of a roughly 3' long white cord.
