This is a 5 1/2" Boston ship's clock I purchased in 1978 for $200. The cover is a screw-on versus the latch type. The number stamped on the back is 11784. I love the fact that I can turn the bells off...sometimes they make my dog bark!!

blunderbuss2 There is not a second hand. Can you tell me more about the clock?

Chronographs are very accurate clocks that were a necessity for calculating longitude before GPS. Easy search.
