Trench Art plane on stand Korea/ VN era

This is the latest trench art plane that I have in my collection. The base shell (105) is dated 1953. I would date this from then to 1960s.

This was originally made as a lamp (with ashtray base), but the wire is long gone. It would be easy to replace, but I like it the way it is.

I am stumped on the plane. It has characteristics of the F-84 Thunderstreak and the F9F Panther, but doesn't match either.

Any thoughts on the plane are appreciated.
