Hi people. I need help. My Partner had 2 3" plastic cabbage patch kid figures when she was little and has lost one. The one she lost was wearing a yellow jump/sleeps it with its arms spread out.
The one she still has is the same size and style, but wearing a pink hoodie style sleepsuit with a white bow round it's neck, and white shoes. No hair either. (see photos)
The one we have has something written on the back but I cannot fully read it as some has rubbed off. It looks like "tolpint__h" and under that, "zapp"
Is this an actual cabbage patch kid or do I have something else that I need to be looking for? She is adamant it is a cpk but sadly I have no idea.
I have contacted cpk official website and they think it may be classed as a "miniature" cpk which was released in the mid 80s, which is around the time it was purchased.
Thanks for reading and welcome any help you have to offer.
Since you have already been in touch with the company, then I think the Facebook group you posted in can offer up the best help.
Zapf Creation is a toy company based near Coburg, Germany the did a Cabbage patch collection .
Thanks @manikin. Front your help, the text on the back of the doll I have says "TOLPATSCH" which is from West Germany. Now I have something to go on.
Come on people... We can do this!
