This is an antique hand forged copper pitcher. It is 11 inches tall and the bottom is 4.5 inches. Overall width with handle is approx 9 inches.
I picked this up at an auction. For some reason nobody had any interest in it. I ended up getting it as part of a lot of other stuff. I couldn't wait to check it out when I got it home. It is hand forged, I don't see any identifying marks. My guess is it is very old. I sent pics to a couple friends who have history with antiques said it looks very old from the pics.
If anybody could shed any light, I'd appreciate it. tia
