Heavily Carved Wooden bowl, w/Lid and enameled painting of fruit.

This wooden bowl measures 7" tall and 22" in circumference. It is heavily carved of fruit and painted bright enamel colors. Base is Black and lid is black. It is a thick wooden bowl, with a lid. There are no stamps or marks of any kind. I purchased it at a Garage Sale, near Austin Texas.. I would like to know more about it. Appreciate any advise or help identifying it.
