Hello CW friends!!
Today we have a cast iron Scottish Terrier doorstop that was marketed as "The Scottie". I'm not completely sure if this one was manufactured by Albany or National Foundry. I'm leaning toward Albany Foundry. This one measures 7 3/4" tall and 9 7/8" long. Hubley's #305 version of this measures 9" tall and 11" long. This one was made in the early part of the 1900's. He still retains most of his original paint.
Thanks for stopping in for a look!!

They did such great jobs making these animals, and I am amazed at how many you find Scott.
Karen,
Thanks! The doorstops made back then were very well detailed and so well made. The Chinese reproductions are nowhere near the quality of this.
He's so cool Scott...of course I'm partial to Scottie's. :)
Thanks Mike!
I'm pretty partial to them as well. I even have a life size bronze Scottie dog on my patio. I should post him as well.
Many thanks to everyone for the loves and for stopping in
