Clearly these two Victorian hand vases are by the same maker, but they fall short of being a true pair due to slightly different styles of painted decoration. Both vases are made from satin finished glass that shades from clear to pale blue, & they both measure 22.5 cm tall, 10 cm across the double crimped top rims, & there is only a minor difference in base widths at 7.5 cm & 8 cm respectively.
    Bohemian origin.

Hi IronLace, I love your hand vases. Out of curiosity may I ask are they all right hands? I wondered if they come in pairs of left and right?

So glad that you're enjoying my hand vases...it is very difficult to find a left & right pair (the pink pair posted two days ago, plus one other pair not yet posted are my only examples). Almost all pairs are two right hands.

These are especially nice........satin glass, colour shading and delicate decoration!

I like the fact these are from the same maker but have their differences. It shows the hand made nature of them and the evolution of production in the workshop.

      Thank you most kindly, sklo42 & racer4four!
I love the fact that you can see so much variation in glass, even in moulded pieces like these...from the nuances of decoration, to subtle differences in colour & finish, it provides endless fascination.

I have a vase ruffled like this with the exact same color fad and it was suggested to be Harrach.
