All steel construction
6 1/2 inches long
3 inches wide
a tab runs down the middle which will open the tongs slightly, it's spring loaded and returns to position shown.
has a little lever on the side which closes rear mechanism slightly.
If you open the tongs you can 'cock' the mechanism like a trigger release.
It has a stamp that says "pat applied for".
Thanks for the inside jokes, This Item is actually a "Cow's tail holder". It secures the cow's tail from swishing back and forth and swatting you in the eye whilst trying to milk it.
Hello Zinger: Do you have any type of reference material, such as Google site, or a Manufacturers name, showing your devise? In my opinion, if it is a cow tail holder, it is about 1,000 percent over designed. I was on the track of a load, quick release mechanism, but have stopped looking now that you say what you say. Thanks
