Is this a covered serving vegetable dish or a candy dish? It's larger and deeper than candy dishes I've seen. And it's just the right size for vegetables. Size is 6" from base to tip of handle on lid. Lid is 7" diameter. It holds 1 quart of liquid.
Are the terms green/yellow drip embossed pottery correct? How would you define the pattern. Does it look Asian to anyone?
The mystery for me is 1. I can't find another like it searching for Haeger vegetable covered dish or candy dish. 2nd I may have not looked long enough but I couldn't find a Haeger label like the one on the dish. Could it be a fake? 3. there's no imprint on the base. It's heavy and weighs 2 and 3/4lb. (2lb 3/4 oz)
