Looks very old. Transparent when held up to light so I know this means it is a soft Porcelain. Always looking for that hand signed piece. In 12 years of collecting I haven't seen one Signed like this but I know so little about Chinese antiques so please give any comments.

      It says
      Bai yun (white cloud)
      Tang (hall)
      ZhouBing (name)
      Zhi (made)

Was a challenge to find it. But these two site were the best I found. You can copy and paste into google translate for the first one.

That translations in Chinese. But by the looks of the second website, looks like it's actually Japanese.....?

I'm no pottery expert by the way, just helping with the language side a bit.

Japanese translation/pronunciation "Hakuundo Shubei Sei, meaning: Made for the White Cloud Hall by Shubei"

Thanks to everyone. I went online and confirmed that it is the Japanese Made for White Hall. Funny I would never have guessed Japanese. But it is an incredible piece. I'm embarrassed to say but only $4 at estate sale.

From what I read it is 1848 to 1902
