I found these buried in our yard, in old mason jars. Have been told they are Akro Agate Marbles, from 1915-1920. Can anyone confirm this? Are they handblown or machine made? I have a total variety of colors, these are just 4 examples. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Some are going in my mason jars, the rest I will be selling, so I want to label these correctly. All marbles have a base color of either purple/pinkish tinge or a yellowish tinge.
They are jabo marbles. Machine made, much more modern than akro agates. A nice find!
If they were made when you say they were then I wouldn't sell then they could be worth alot of money.
i agree with marble dave they look like jabos to me as well much more modern then akro
alot of people will still find these types of marbles collectable however akro agates marbles are highly collectable.
still great find however for any one who loves marbles
