I posted the metal carrying case for this a ways back, it is on the right in the first photo. I wasn't going to buy it by the seller bundled it with the Erector set I posted last week.
This microscope is lighted but the Christmas tree light burned out as soon as I plugged it in. This set is circa 1961 according to my earlier research.
I had planned to switch out the cases but the one with better front is missing the latch. I guess I will put the mini-tanks back in it.
I always wanted one of these when I was a kid. I remember my cousins got one for Christmas and we thought it was the coolest!! I still do today. Great find!
Thank you very much Scott. It would have been pretty fun.
Thank you very much Thomas. Needs that spray they use to look for blood. What do they call that?

And so from humble roots, the Manhattan Project was born. And the people looked on and said, I'm not so sure this is such a good f**king idea ! LOL !
And the Lord did grin and the people feast upon the lamb, wombats and breakfast cereals.

These were so pool Fort! As a kid, I remember pulling pieces of bugs apart to look at them under the microscope.
