This is a 1921 Ansonia Sun Watch manufactured by the Ansonia Clock Co. with the Patent Pending. Complete with instruction manual that also fits inside the lid. The case is brushed brass with a push button snap closure.
The removable metal plate inside the lid, list cities that you choose nearest to your location and you lift the style to the to the degree corresponding to your location. Note these are all U.S.A. cities since this was mfg. in New York.
It was advertised as "The Tickless Timepiece" Tells Time by the Sun and is a convenient pocket size. It sold for $1.30.

This is great!! I love it.
Today at $1.30 we will each take a dozen in 1921 that was a fair amount however it never needs a new battery, Cool piece, I bet the 5th graders had almost as much fun as you ;D
