I'd like to know if you can tell me what this badge is and if it has any value? I remember my grandfather telling us he walked the docks down at the Phila. Navy Yard during WW ll but the name on the back is not his.
    Thank you.
The name engraved on the back is Edward L. D. Roach. I have no idea who that is. The stamping at the bottom says: "Sterling-W.H.Kensil, Phila,"

      Interesting item.

Can you add a photo or two of the back? It will help to determine the era.

I have a badge from W.H.Kensil, Phila but could not find anything about it.
One Kensil reference I found was 1870 and 1910
